Mo Ibrahim Prize received | Former President of Cape Verde, Pedro Verona Pires has been presented with his $5 million Mo Ibrahim prize for excellence in African leadership. The presentation was done at a short ceremony in Palais de Congress, Tunis, Saturday November 12th.The annual ceremony which is to recognize and celebrate excellence in African leadership has seen former South African President, Nelson Mandela, former presidents in Mozambique and Botswana all picking the award.
